And let’s not forget the high-speed train project that has spent over 35 BILLION DOLLARS over 15 years—without laying a single track. That’s a lot of money for a train that only exists in the collective imagination of state bureaucrats.
But hey, it’s all for the environment, right? Let’s break down exactly how these policies—designed to "save the planet"—are making everyday life unbearable.
Gas Prices: We’re Being Mugged at the Pump
California leads the nation in fuel costs, thanks to environmental mandates, a cap-and-trade system, and refinery restrictions. Oil drilling? Forbidden. Refinery closures? Mandatory. But don’t worry, we still import oil from countries with zero environmental regulations, because that makes total sense.
