Firestorm in Los Angeles County: A Community in Crisis
More than 1,000 homes, businesses, and buildings have been destroyed, and at least two lives have been lost in three separate firestorms that have torn through Los Angeles County.
This could be the most devastating firestorm in the region’s history. As the situation unfolds, we’ve pulled together a collection of videos and images to help you see what’s happening on the ground.

A couple of years ago, insurance companies put in the necessary requests to the state of California to raise their rates. They were denied. So most of them pulled out of CA. It has been extremely difficult, if not impossible, to get house ins here since then.
