Biden Admin Caught Funding Anti-American Immigration Protests in LA

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Los Angeles experienced riots over the weekend in response to new federal ICE operations, prompting violence and a heavy police presence.
Videos captured protesters using hammers to break concrete and create projectiles, with some tied to the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights, which previously received a $450,000 grant from the Biden administration for citizenship training.
Approximately 10% of LA’s population consists of illegal immigrants, according to city council figures.
Mayor Karen Bass condemned ICE’s actions, calling them disruptive and fear-inducing, while the LAPD reiterated its policy of not aiding ICE with civil immigration enforcement.
David Huerta, president of California’s largest union, SEIU, was arrested for blocking federal agents as they attempted to execute a judicial warrant.
LAPD escalated its response as protests turned violent, declaring an unlawful assembly and issuing a citywide tactical alert.
U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli emphasized that anyone interfering with federal operations will be prosecuted, regardless of status.
Huerta defended his actions as an act of resistance against injustice, while the media reported that at least 44 arrests were made during the unrest.

Meanwhile, The DA of Los Angeles is Having Lunch (Literally)

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Los Angeles is engulfed in violent protests following federal ICE operations targeting undocumented immigrants, with tensions escalating into riots and property damage.
Amid the unrest, L.A. County District Attorney Nathan Hochman drew criticism for downplaying the crisis and appearing more focused on trivial matters, earning the jab that he was “literally out to lunch.”
While Hochman stated his office does not enforce immigration laws, he warned that “professional agitators” involved in violence will be prosecuted.
He emphasized that the city has enough local law enforcement resources and does not require additional federal military assistance.
Hochman also noted that his team would use social media and arrest records to identify and charge those responsible for criminal acts during the protests.
His response was seen as symbolic of a wider disconnect between city leadership and the severity of the situation on the ground.
Critics argue that Hochman’s cautious, politically safe approach lacks the urgency demanded by the moment.
The article suggests that his priorities appear misaligned as Los Angeles faces widespread chaos and civil disorder.
And Gavin Newsom’s Wife Shopping as LA is Burning
Dear God.
She came to Los Angeles to shop using her $4k purse.

Taxpayer-Funded Riots: Here's What We Found When We Followed the Money in Los Angeles

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
The article uncovers that CHIRLA, the group at the center of the recent LA anti-ICE protests, received $34 million in taxpayer-funded contracts in 2023, nearly triple what it received the previous year.
A significant portion of this funding came from state and local government, with a notable $450,000 federal grant backed by DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and LA Mayor Karen Bass.
CHIRLA’s executive director, Angelica Salas, was a key organizer of the protests, which featured coordinated signage and clothing, suggesting the demonstrations were highly organized rather than grassroots.
The article also highlights the involvement of SEIU leader David Huerta, who was arrested during the protests for obstructing ICE agents.
CHIRLA’s activities go beyond advocacy, extending to voter mobilization, training programs, and rapid-response activism that often crosses into agitation.
The group’s political ties are emphasized, especially its support for Democratic campaigns and candidates like Karen Bass.
The piece argues that public funds are being funneled into organizations that directly support partisan political agendas under the guise of community service.
It concludes by warning that the riots were not spontaneous but orchestrated and backed by powerful, well-funded political allies.
